Auctions Always on Second, Fourth Mondays at 5:30 p.m.
Auctions can be hit and miss – and we’re not just talking about the lots up for auction. At Rabbittown Trade Center, you will find that we’ve figured out the way to do auctions right.
When you enter the double doors to the auction floor you’ll find a bright, wide-open space. This former warehouse space has been been through a meticulous restoration of its brick walls and polished hardwood floors. There’s plenty of room for the goods and buyers. The lots are staged at the front of the room and rows of chairs in the middle. Need a breather? There is ample room to chat and stretch your legs in the rear. Rabbittown also operates a snack bar during auctions.
We believe auctions are essentially social, community events. We’ve designed a space and a way of doing things that makes it fun to come to an auction even if you’re not buying that day.
If you are a seller, you’ll find Rabbittown a pleasure to deal with. We’re here to make your auction a success. If this means you need some help before auction day with moving your things or other tasks in getting ready for the auction, chances are we can help. Our auctioneer, Kerry Lenhart, of Georgetown, IL is experienced and comes from a family auctions business.
